About Me:

Hi, I'm Penny!

I am a young girl who will need their family to be proactive and understand that these next few months are pretty important in my life. Early socialization is where I learn about the big wide human world that we have to live in. There is going to be so many new things I have yet to experience.

I need a home that will look at my body language and understand when I may be fearful of something new.

I will also need a family that will be proactive with my medical care and be willing to help me through whatever my future brings. One of my back toes was injured, WAG doesn't know how, they are currently waiting on radiographs to see what the next steps are, but at this time, I am on strict rest. This can be hard for a young puppy, I will need a family that can help me get my energy out by mental stimulation instead of physical as right now, I'm only allowed out for leashed pee breaks.

A family that is patient and loving is what I would like the most, I am just a baby after all. I need a home that is committed to me and ready to give me a life with love and adventure for the rest of my years.
I can't wait to find my forever home.

My Perfect Match

- Able to provide a calm, nurturing environment with people that will pay attention to my body language to understand how I feel
- Is ready for the 10+ year commitment
- Loves goofy loveable quirky girls
- Will continue with basic training - I will need a post-adoption training appointment or Puppy classes with a WAG approved trainer
- Lots of patience!
- Will use food as a motivator!
- Will love me forever no matter what, quirks and all!
- I need a home that is committed to me and ready to give me a life with love and adventure for the rest of my years.

My Story:

I was brought into WAG's care from a concerned citizen who had noticed that I was roaming with no family.

After my first vet visit to get my vaccines, it was noted that my back toe was badly injured and may need help healing. WAG is currently forming a treatment plan with my veterinary team.

If you cannot adopt at this time, please consider donating to my care.
