About Me:

Rosebud arrived at WAG on the evening of September 19, 2017. We are still getting to know her temperament at the moment while we help her in the healing process from her surgery.

I am feeling a lot better after my surgery and have started showing off my amazing personality! I am a sweet and playful girl that loves to make the staff at WAG laugh! Although I am a bit shy at first, I turn into a big cuddle bug once I know and trust you. I love belly rubs and getting hand fed my meals. I am still wearing my cone which I really don't like too much... It makes me a bit nervous of things around me and getting in to cars is especially tricky. I will be getting the cone off soon though (I can't wait!), and everyday will be a new learning and healing experience.  I am really  just a big goofy puppy that is looking for someone to love me and help me feel my best after my injury.

My Story:

Rosebud has had an exceptionally rough start to her life. A year ago Rose overcame Parvovirus and most recently she has had a significant wound to her leg. By the time Rose was taken to have surgery on her leg, the laceration was over 36-hours old, had contracted significantly and was under a lot of tension. A drain has been temporarily placed in Rosie's leg to facilitate healing. This girl is on strict rest of a week and on various medications to prevent infection and help with pain management. Please consider donating to WAG's critical care fund in Rosie's name to help with her medical care.
