WAG’s sled dogs on CTV News!

Pancake and Hooters made a big trip to the city where they met Penny Stone, employee of the Whistler Sled Dog Co., for their TV debut on CTV News!  Both girls were very well behaved, and we could not have been more proud!  After spending their lives outside, and for many years tethered to a chain, traveling anywhere off kennel property or outside of WAG is a big deal for these dogs.  WAG staff were thrilled when the two former sled dogs took the day in stride and were the most perfectly behaved princesses!  Since that day, Pancake has been adopted into a wonderful forever-home, joining another former sled dog, Midge, as her new sister.  Hooters will also be going to her new forever-home soon, as many people are ready to welcome her into their hearts and families.

WAG wishes ALL our wonderful sleddies could have been featured on CTV News because they are all so special and amazing!  WAG still has 9 more waiting to find their perfect matches, so please check out their full profiles and photos here and spread the word about these special souls and help find them their FOREVER HOMES!

Thank You CTV News for featuring our special girls and their story!
