About Me:

Hi, I'm Popcorn!

I have just arrived to WAG and wow, I am pretty scared.

Keep an eye on my profile, as I feel more comfortable and make friends with the volunteers, I'm sure I'll start showing my true personality.

I may never be a lap cat or a cat that loves visitors, I need a family that will be okay with me hiding when company comes over. I might even hiss or spat if I feel like my space isn't being respected.

I haven't experienced much stability in my life so far, so I am looking for a home that will offer me that, and lots of patience to help me adjust to being around people and being in a home.

My Purrrfect Match

  • will be ready for a 15+ year commitment!
  • have lots of patience while I learn to feel comfortable with my new family.
  • someone who understands that I might not want to cuddle or be touched all the time.
  • might have another feline companion in the house, I get along with other cats.
  • will provide lots of enrichment, scratching towers, toys, catio etc.
  • will keep my health in mind and take me into the vet for yearly checkups.
  • understand that I am still developing and my personality may change over time!
  • will keep me safe and happy, forever.

My Story:

I was found by a concerned community member in Pemberton, it is thanks to her that I am alive. I was found cold and alone and not doing well. She brought me home and kept me warm and fed and brought me into PAWS - the Pemberton Animal Well Being Society there I gained a little confidence and showed interest in some of the other kitties. Due to flooding at the shelter, I have been transferred to WAG's care, where they will help me gain confidence and learn that humans can be trusted!

If you cannot adopt at this time, please consider donating to WAG or PAWS so they can continue to take in the animals that need a little more work!

About Me:

Hi, I'm Crimson!

My siblings, mom and I are still together.  I'm still nursing and will be available for adoption soon!

I love exploring new places and things! I am an adventurous young kitten looking for a family to help me learn and grow.

I get along with all my siblings and am very curious about older cats, but would want to make sure they won't beat me up before I try to play! I need attention, love, affection, and lots of playtime!

I have had limited time with dogs, lots of small introductions, treats and supervision to make sure I am safe!

I haven't had much time with small humans, I am small myself, so I'm sure we'll get along, as long as they are gentle, and can read my body language and respect when I want to be alone.

We were born at WAG and have been with our mom since. Our mom and we were accidental litters, as cute as we are, litters are lots of time and work.

Raven

RAVEN

Breed: Domestic Short hair
Gender: Male
Age: 8 years approx
Size: Large
Where you can find me: In a foster home

Energy Level: Low
Litter trained? Yes
Kids? Calm children

Cats? Unknown
Dogs? Unknown
Medical Needs: Help him achieve a healthier weight

About Me:

Hi, I'm Raven!

I can be a shy boy and take some time to settle in.

I have had a hard past, which will never be fully known as I came into WAG as a stray.

I have just moved to a very nice foster home, I feel safe and will be trying each day to be a little braver. Hopefully, once I feel a little more comfortable in my new home I can show off my true personality.

I need a home that will understand that I am heading into my senior years and would benefit from a relaxing environment. I hope my next home will be my forever home.

Here are some notes from Raven's foster family -

Raven loves chin scratches and giving kisses.

He has a favourite spot to snooze on the sofa which he does most of the day or he does enjoy his bed which is a bit nearer the radiator for when we have had the heating on. Not that he doesn't have any liveliness about him, just give him some cat nip and he loves to play!! His favourite toy is the the mouse on the string. He will need a new one soon as he has almost killed the current one!

He has only met a couple people but he seems to enjoy chin scratches from everyone, he doesn't judge haha

We do have a table next to the window but he doesn't seem fussed for looking out of it. However it only looks out onto a small garden so maybe he would enjoy it if it was a more exciting view!

He's very tolerant of most things and enjoys being picked up from time to time. He'll sit in your arms with his little paws crossed and purr away (I'll try get a photo of it soon, it's super cute!)

He's on a restricted diet because he is a bit overweight

Give my foster family a follow and keep up with me on Instagram

My Purrrfect Match

- Will provide me with as many beds/napping spots I may wish for in my forever home – preferably with a view!
- Will understand that I may need a little bit of time to settle into my new surroundings.
- Will continue to monitor my health throughout my life.
- Provide me with endless hours of play or cuddles, whichever I prefer!
- Would like to never be without catnip again.
- Give me a safe home forever and ever.

My Story:

I was a stray cat that a lot of people kept an eye on, but nobody wanted me as their own! I hope that I will find my forever family soon.
