About Me:

Hi, I'm Beast!

My siblings, mom and I are still together.  I'm still nursing and will be available for adoption soon!

I love exploring new places and things! I am an adventurous young kitten looking for a family to help me learn and grow.

I get along with all my siblings and am very curious about older cats, but would want to make sure they won't beat me up before I try to play! I need attention, love, affection, and lots of playtime!

I have had limited time with dogs, lots of small introductions, treats and supervision to make sure I am safe!

I haven't had much time with small humans, I am small myself, so I'm sure we'll get along, as long as they are gentle, and can read my body language and respect when I want to be alone.

My Purrrfect Match

  • will be ready for a 15+ year commitment!
  • will provide lots of enrichment, scratching towers, toys, catio etc.
  • will keep my health in mind and take me into the vet for yearly checkups.
  • understand that I am still developing and my personality may change over time!
  • will keep me safe and happy, forever.

My Story:

My mom was surrendered to the shelter pregnant after her previous family was not able to care for an unexpected pregnancy.

We were born at WAG and have been with our mom since. Our mom and we were accidental litters, as cute as we are, litters are lots of time and work.

If you can't adopt at this time, consider donating to WAG for our care, or to WAG's Financial Assistance Spay & Neuter Program!

Peaches – Adopted September 2020!

PEACHES

Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Gender: Female
Age: 1 1/2 years approx.
Size: Medium
Where you can find me: In foster

Energy Level: Medium - High
Litter trained? Yes
Kids? Calm kids would be okay

Cats? No thanks!
Dogs? No thanks!
Medical Needs: Continued monitoring of my health

About Me:

Hi, I'm Peaches.

I came in to WAG as a very sick lady but have now made an amazing recovery. Now I'm feeling better I am back to being my usual self which is a very playful overgrown kitten! I LOVE playing and could play for hours and I especially love catching bugs (Although I can be pretty clumsy and don't often get them). I can be a little particular but once I pick my people I show them just how much I love them. My foster mom calls me her little shadow! I, unfortunately, don't get along well with other animals so would love to be the only animal in your home but I promise that I've got so much personality that you won't ever need another!

My Purrrfect Match:

-I am looking for a home that will keep me safe from harm.
-Provide me with lots of comfy beds and high perches.
-Continue to keep me healthy and prioritize my care.

My Story:

I was brought to WAG due to high vet bills. My owner's loved me and cared for me, but when I suddenly became ill they brought me into the vet and after my first visit they still weren't sure what was wrong with me! The next steps was another vet visit and more tests, diagnostic work adds up fast, and before they knew it, my owners had a vet bill they were unable to afford. They made the hard decision to surrender me to WAG and hope that they could figure out what was wrong with me!

After more and more vet visits, I ended up having to stay in overnight care throughout the weekend and thankfully I started to show improvement! It's still not completely sure what was wrong with me, but the vet thinks that I had a bad gastrointestinal infection. Thankfully some tasty food with medication has been helped me recover.

I am now feeling much better and I am happy and thriving in a foster home but I miss having a family of my own!

A big thank you to the Pemberton Veterinary Clinic and Eagleview Veterinary clinic and their amazing teams!

If you cannot adopt at this time, please consider donating to our Critical Care program, this helps animal's like Peaches who need some extra medical care while at WAG!

Franklin – Adopted August 2020!

FRANKLIN

Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown, 5+
Size: Medium
Where you can find me: At the shelter

Energy Level: Medium
Litter trained? Yes
Kids? Unknown

Cats? Unknown
Dogs? Unknown
Medical Needs: Waiting for first vet check up!

About Me:

Hi, I'm Franklin!

I am new to the shelter and still settling in.

I like head and chin scratches and a nice lap to sit on, please don't touch my belly though.

My past is unknown, I was a stray boy free-roaming in Pemberton. Please be patient with me while I gain confidence and start to show my true personality.

Keep an eye on my profile as I'm sure things will change the more they get to know me, they keep telling me to be brave for my vet appointment...whatever that means.

I enjoy it when the staff spend time with me. The love, warmth, food, water, and cosy beds they have given me make me feel happy and I am becoming much braver. There’s been a lot of changes in my life recently and I would very much like to be adopted by people who understand that time and patience, combined with love and respect is very important for me.  I am ready to find my Forever Home and I can't wait to meet my new Forever Family!

My Purrrfect Match

- Will provide me with as many beds/napping spots I may wish for in my forever home – preferably with a view!
- Will understand that I may need a little bit of time to settle into my new surroundings.
- Will continue to monitor my health throughout my life.
- Provide me with endless hours of play or cuddles, whichever I prefer!
- Give me a safe home forever and ever.

My Story:

My life before WAG is unknown, I was brought to the shelter as a stray by a concerned citizen. I hope that WAG will find me the purrrfect match that will keep me safe for all my years to come.

If you can't adopt, please consider donating to the shelter so they can continue to help animals like myself.
