My story:

Hello, we are Duck & Goose!

We were the first new residents to arrive at WAG in 2025! We came into the care of the shelter together and would love to be adopted as a pair. We are sisters, check out the photos on our profile from our very first photoshoot with the talented @furrytail_petphotography! Duck is the fluffy beauty of the duo and Goose is the chic tuxedo shorter haired sibling. We are really friendly and playful right off the bat, at only 8 weeks old we are still babies with lots to learn but we are already confident and adjusting well to our new routine at the busy shelter.

We had Dr. Alms from Harmony Vet come to see us for our first official vet visit and FVRCP vaccine. We were really brave and she adored us, as has everyone who has spent time with us so far. We will need out vaccine boosters but are up to date with deworming/ flea treatments as standard. We will be spayed once we are a little older, but don't forget that this is included in the adoption fee at our partner vet Eagleview in Squamish.

We can't wait to get out of the shelter and into our furrrever home! We've heard that WAG has had several cats and kittens in care for longer than usual, we hope we don't have to wait long. We have so much love to give and will make fantastic additions to our new family!

The first step to bringing these girls home is to fill out an application form via our website today!

My purrrrfect match:

  • will be ready for a 10+ year commitment, with consideration of additional costs for two cats.

  • have lots of patience whilst we learn to feel comfortable with our new family.

  • someone who understands that we might not want to cuddle or be touched all the time.

  • will provide lots of enrichment, scratching towers, toys, catio etc.

  • will keep our health in mind and take us into the vet for yearly checkups.

  • will keep us safe and happy, forever.
