My story:

Hi, we are siblings Leela & Fry!

We arrived at WAG earlier this month after being found by a concerned citizen, with no mom in the vicinity after a thorough search. We have settled in to shelter life well and have recently been to the Vets for a checkup to make sure we are healthy and on track. Despite being orphans we were given a clean bill of health and have been gaining weight each day at the shelter and making lots of new staff and volunteer friends. At first, we looked very thin and had sore swollen bellies but we have had our dewormer, high quality diet and have been feeling better. We are coming up to 8 weeks old and will be ready for our forever home very soon! We are bestest friends and would love to be adopted together as a pair if possible. We are used to being together and have been so brave and strong even though we haven't had the easiest start to life. We hope that its smooth sailing from here and we won't have to wait long at the shelter to find our puuuurfect match.

Fry is the brown tabby male one and is always the first to come and say hi and check out new things. Leela is the slightly smaller grey tabby female and has been a little more timid from the start. Together they are confident and are starting to show more of their personalities each day. They love to play together and then take a well deserved nap together afterwards. Lots of things are new to them and they are learning all the time, during this important stage of their socialisation. They are looking for a loving family to help them continue their growth and development and help patiently teach them all they need to know.

If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption form by clicking "Apply to Adopt" today.

WAG can often have litters of kittens in our care, although adorable they do take a lot of time and resources so if you can, please consider donating to WAG’s Critical Care Program so we can help orphans like these when they need us the most.

My purrrrfect match:

  • will be ready for a 15+ year commitment!

  • have lots of patience while I transition into my new home with my new family

  • will provide lots of enrichment, scratching towers, toys, catio etc.

  • will keep my health in mind and take me into the vet for yearly checkups

  • will understand that I am still developing and my personality may change over time!

  • will keep me safe and happy, forever
