My story:

Hi I'm Pip!  I found myself at the shelter after a scary trip to the vet where I discovered I needed emergency surgery.

*I am currently spending my time in a foster home locally

After accidentally ingesting some string, I ended up at the vet with a blockage and needed a costly emergency surgery immediately to remove it. To save my life and to ensure I received the care I needed, my owners made the difficult decision to surrender me to WAG. Thanks to the quick help of my friends at Coast Mountain Veterinary Services, I was able to receive the care I needed and began to feel better in the following days. Since being in their care, I have improved a LOT and even received my spay surgery. While I’m waiting for my forever home, a kind foster family has taken me in to help me get better and make sure I relax. I’ve been told that I’m a really great house guest and make the best cuddle buddy.

I am very grateful to the team at Coast Mountain Veterinary Services who took me in and made sure I received the life-saving care I needed. Having previously lived outside, I will need some time to adjust to indoor living and will require some patience with learning a few basics - Although I’m already a pro at napping on my foster’s bed… or anywhere for that matter.  All that’s left now is to find the purfect family to love me and keep me safe forever!

Keep an eye on my profile as the team learns more about me and my ideal home, as well as any health updates when we have them. If you feel you could give me a calm, warm and safe home to spend my days whilst keeping my health as top priority then please fill out an adoption form by clicking "Apply to Adopt" today.

My purrrrfect match:

  • will be proactive with my health and give me all the love and care I need for all my years

  • will continue monitor my health and stay up to date on my veterinary care

  • will be patient while I transition into my new home with my new family. I have had a lot of changes recently and I will need time to  settle in. I would like a calm home where I can really relax and rest  up.

  • will provide lots of enrichment, scratching towers, toys, catio if deemed appropriate etc.

  • will keep me safe and happy, forever!
