A Shelter Full of Hope and Promise

About Me:

Hi I'm Onyx!

I was a stray cat that hung around North Arm Farm in Pemberton. After a concerned citizen noticed it looked like I had been in a fight, they brought me to WAG so I could get the vet care I needed.

I have been at WAG for a little while now and I am still very nervous of the staff and volunteers. They are all really nice and respect my space, they even read to me. But I have been feral for most of my life and we'll see if I'll ever become comfortable with humans.

At this time, Onyx would do best to become a barn cat and would be a great mouser. While we always hope that WAG cats can go on to be great indoor cats, Onyx has shown very little progress and is quite unhappy at the shelter.

Feral cats take a lot of time and patience if you can please consider donating to Onyx's care.
