Thank you for considering volunteering at WAG!

 

We understand that your free time is precious and appreciate you wanting to spend some of it with us. Please fill our the application below and we will be in touch when the right role for you comes up.

You will be asked to help with tasks ranging from feeding, cleaning urine/feces, animal socialization (both dogs and cats), walks, dishes, laundry and other tasks.

Are you comfortable in helping with all aspects of volunteering? Required

Can you commit to a minimum of one shift per week for at least 6 months? Required
Do you live in pet-friendly accommodation? Required
Would you be willing to foster an animal if needed?
Do you have a vehicle? Required
Would you be interested in helping us transport animals to the vet for vet appointments?
Would you be interested in helping us with fundraising & events? Required

We want to hear from you! We are a very small team and unlike other shelters we operate by appointment only. Because staff is often busy with the animals and away from the phone, email is the recommended way to get in touch with us.

We apologise for any inconvience but we are unable to accomodate walk ins to meet our animals.

WAG is a non-profit charity with limited staffing resources. Our small, hard working team is always caring for our animals. We are available 365 days a year for all scheduled appointments.
