My story:

Meet Lorelai!

Lorelai came into WAG’s care last summer after being with Lillooet Animal Advocate Society (LAAS), arriving as a devoted mama to her three kittens and then generously stepping in as a foster mom to six more. She’s done an amazing job raising babies and is now ready to enjoy a calmer chapter of life.

A gentle and graceful former mama, Lorelai has a calm, motherly nature and excellent manners. She isn’t interested in destruction or mischief, this lady waits patiently for her kibble and takes pride in staying clean and tidy, often treating herself to a thorough grooming session.

Lorelai loves gentle affection like soft pets and extra chin scratches. While she may not be a lap cat in the shelter, she shows her love in sweet, sincere ways. She enjoys cozy spots, high perches, and windows where she can quietly watch the world go by.

She has the perfect balance of calm and fun. Lorelai can occasionally be found zooming after toys or enjoying playful moments with her daughter, Rory. She is currently living in the cattery with Rory and does wonderfully sharing her space.

Lorelai has also shared space with other cats and is wonderfully polite. With slow, respectful introductions, she would likely be able to coexist happily with another cat in her future home.

If you’re looking for a well-mannered, affectionate companion with a peaceful soul and just a hint of playful sparkle, Lorelai could be your perfect match.

My purrrrfect match:

  • will be ready for a long term commitment 10+ years

  • have lots of patience whilst I learn to feel comfortable with my new family

  • will provide lots of enrichment, scratching towers, toys, catio etc.

  • be proactive with my health for the years ahead.

  • will keep me safe and happy, forever.
