Hi, I’m Sambal!

I’m a sweet, energetic young girl who loves to run, chase wand toys, and soak up all the attention. My previous family loved me very much, but my high energy proved too much with a new human sibling. I’m looking for a home that can match my playful spirit—without little kids around.

I haven’t lived with cats since birth and get on high alert when dogs pass by, so I would likely do best as a solo cat.

My foster says:"Just take one look at her—she’s a cutie with catitude, but a kind girl. She always greets you when you come home and is very inquisitive, watching everything you do. She loves playtime and also entertains herself a lot. She wakes you up with a gentle ‘murr’ and purry cuddle session in the morning, usually an hour before breakfast. She doesn’t like being handled unless it’s on her terms, but she’ll sleep on you if you lay flat on the sofa or bed."

I spend most workdays home alone, snoozing, watching birds, and enjoying the occasional zoomie session. I’ve met a few neighbor cats and dogs—I’m curious but keep my distance, sometimes puffing up my fur or giving a little hiss. My perfect day includes short walks in the corridor outside my unit, cardboard boxes, solving treat puzzles, and lots of wand play with my humans. When I’m not zooming around, I love to watch every move my humans make or curl up for a nap in my favorite chair by the window.
