Meet Diablo!

Don’t let the name fool you, Diablo is the complete opposite. He is a gentle, loving, and affectionate young boy who enjoys people and attention. At about 1 year old, Diablo has a calm, sweet nature that is quickly winning everyone over.

When Diablo first arrived at WAG, he experienced a serious health scare following his neuter surgery and required urgent veterinary care at Coast Mountain Veterinary Services, including IV fluids and close monitoring. Thankfully, he responded well to treatment and has made a full recovery.

One of the wonderful members of the Coast Mountain Vet team took Diablo home so he could be closely monitored, kept comfortable, and given the extra care he needed while he rehydrated and regained his appetite and energy. 

Since then, he has been thriving in foster care and has settled in beautifully with his foster family's resident senior dog and cat.

Diablo is incredible with other dogs and approaches every interaction with a gentle, respectful demeanor. Despite his size, he's truly a gentle giant and often seems completely unaware of just how big he is! He accompanies his foster to work at Coast Mountain Vet, where he has become a staff favorite and absolutely adores everyone he meets. His friendly personality, affectionate nature, and easygoing temperament make him a joy to have around.

Diablo is looking for a forever home that will continue his positive reinforcement training and help him build on the wonderful foundation he already has. In return, he'll offer endless love, loyal companionship, and plenty of cuddles. If you're looking for a sweet, gentle best friend to share your life with, Diablo may be the perfect match.
