My story:
Hi there — you might recognize me! I first arrived at WAG in 2022, when I was about 8 months old. I was full of energy and had lots to learn. After spending some time at the shelter, I was adopted into a loving home and made huge progress — but unfortunately, things didn’t quite work out long-term, and I’ve found myself back at WAG.
Since then, I’ve had the chance to spend time in two amazing foster homes, where I was affectionately called "the most adorable meatball you’ll ever meet." And honestly? I think they’re right.
A Well-Rounded Girl With So Much Love to Give
I've made great strides in the past year — I’ve built confidence, become much more comfortable around bikes and new sights, and I’ve even been doing really well meeting other dogs while in my foster homes! I have doggy friends now and love social time when it’s done at my pace.
At home, I’m actually pretty low-energy. I love nothing more than curling up at your feet, relaxing on the couch, or having a nice cuddle session. That said, don’t let my lazy lounging fool you — I’m also an adventure girl at heart. I absolutely love getting outside for hikes, trips to the beach, camping, or even cross-country skiing! I’ll happily tag along on your adventures… then crash out beside you for a well-earned nap.
I know lots of cues, walk well on leash, and love to stay close to my people. I'm affectionate, goofy, and sensitive in the best way.
Right now, I’m taking anti-anxiety medication as recommended by my vet and behaviourist. It's helping me stay balanced during this big transitional period, and my new family should be ready to continue that support and check in with professionals as needed.
I’ve been through a lot for a young dog, but I’ve held onto my sweet, affectionate nature through it all. I’m goofy, loyal, and full of love to give. Once I feel comfortable and secure, I’m laid-back and content to snooze while you go about your day — and when it’s time for an adventure, I’m right there by your side, ready to go!

My perfect home:
Is dog savvy and willing to take a couple of trips to get to know me before taking me home.
Is patient and understands that I will need time to settle in and relax after my adoption and go at my own pace. I have had lots of huge change in my life recently and am on anti-anxiety medication to help me with the transition, which will need to be continued at the recommendation of my Vet team for the foreseeable future.
Be proactive with my training, using a WAG approved trainer that will help me learn transition and give me the best set up for success. Including being pro-muzzle and keen to continue my muzzle training plan.
Having a safe & secured yard would be a bonus for morning zoomies and ball play sessions! If not, being okay with using a long line to allow plenty of freedom but keep me safe works too.
Will take me for regular vet checkups and be proactive with my health.
