About Me:
Hi I’m Daffodil! My mom, aunty, siblings and I are all together at WAG and have recently been to our first ever vet visit for our checkups and vaccines. Us babies are now approx. 8 weeks old and in process of weaning, so will be available for adoption very soon! I love exploring new places and things, I am a sweet, curious, adventurous young kitten looking for a family to help me learn and grow. I get along well with my siblings and enjoy being visiting by the human staff and volleys! I’m looking for a home that will provide me with all the things a kitten needs like attention, love, affection, and lots of play time for the rest of my years.
– will be ready for a 15+ year commitment!
– have lots of patience while I transition into my new home with my new family
– will provide lots of enrichment, scratching towers, toys, catio etc.
– will keep my health in mind and take me into the vet for yearly checkups
– will understand that I am still developing and my personality may change over time!
– will keep me safe and happy, forever APPLY FOR DAFFODIL!
My Story:
A family reached out to WAG for assistance as they had found themselves with more animals than they were able to manage. The group of well loved kitties (2 moms and their 6 babies) recently became residents of our large cattery to continue their journey of growth and good health. All of these cats have now gained access to Veterinary care including first checkups, basic vaccines, parasite control and anything else recomended. WAG works with our partner vets to ensure that every animal adopted out is spayed and neutered, an important part of our ongoing work to prevent accidental litters and make sure we can help other animals in need when they need it the most.
One of the moms is an older gal who will soon be spayed as part of WAG’s Financial Assistance Neuter & Spay program (FANS) so that this will be her last litter and she can spend the rest of her days being looked after instead of looking after others! WAG’s low-cost spay and neuter program is for low-income families needing assistance in the community. This program helps reduce the number of unwanted litters while also allowing families to keep their animals rather than having to surrender or to continue having litters.
