About Me:
Hi, I’m Elton!
I am a young pup who will need their family to be proactive and understand that these next few weeks are the most important in my life. Early socialization is where I learn about the big wide human world that we have to live in. There is going to be so many new things I have yet to experience. I need a home that will look at my body language and understand when I may be fearful of something new.
I am a confident boy who faces the world bravely, a little too brave and bold sometimes!
I have a habit for biting ankles, so watch out! With positive reinforcement training, redirection and keeping me mentally stimulated, I should become less and less interested with humans fast moving feet! I am also teething right now, so lots of toys for me to chew on will be helpful!
I love to lay on my back, that’s how you know I’m super tired. Please respect me when I am sleeping! I am not the most cuddley puppy, a lot of time I enjoy my space and my own comfy spot. I would prefer not being picked up lots, if I am uncomfortable I will show clear signs and become a very wriggly puppy. I would love if my humans practiced consent behaviours and cooperative care to help me in the future for vet appointments, grooming etc.
A family that is patient and loving is what I would like the most, I am just a baby after all. I need a home that is committed to me and ready to give me a life with love and adventure for the rest of my years.
I can’t wait to find my forever home.
My Perfect Match

I need a home that is committed to me and ready to give me a life with love and adventure for the rest of my years. APPLY FOR ELTON!
My Story:
I was brought into WAG not being in the best shape, underweight and a tummy full of worms. Thankfully, through the love and care of the team at WAG, I am doing much better!
